G'day; and a big photographic welcome
This site has existed since the late 1990s, its original idea has now been replaced by many of the new web 2.0 technologies, read on if you wish to know more about Stuart, and his passions, or just check out his photographic gallery.
Photographic Galleries, Projects & Ideas
Stuart, has been passionate to the point of obsession about photographic art since the late 1980s. In that time, he has watched rapid changes to many of the technologies affecting how photographs are produced and consumed. He explores and experiments using these technologies, in this highly wired world we now find ourslves in. His blog and flickr photo-stream are some of the places he hosts some of his photographic art and photographic ideas these days. Flickr is for him a kind of digital sketchbook, a place to work with ideas, he then distills these into completed bodies of work, which then can be found on his photographic gallery page, [as more are completed more will be added there]. Or exhibited around town. Sometimes published as photo books.
Contacting Stuart
Contacting him however, is still the same as it ever was, except you now can add, skype as well as to the list of ways of getting in contact.
More Recently
Some of the other things he has been involved in, include, blogging, for his teaching position at pic, and his teaching position at VU, as well as at a personal level, he also has been recently invited to contribute to the online magazine, COD, or the Death of Cool. He is involved in a publication that examines photography in this highly wired world we now find ourselves in. Exhibiting both online and in the real world are of course still major components of his creative life.
So what are you waiting for? Check out his photographs either on his site gallery , or flickr. Perhaps have a read of his musings and contemplations about photography, photoshop and the internet on my blog, or get involved in the discussion about photography's current state of affairs.
