I have uncovered the negs that I shot while on my big 1998 road trip. All 5×4 inch film, I’m surprised at how little of it I shot?

Whyalla is changing with renewable energy eg., Cupta’s Steelworks will be powered by renewable energy; there is the Cultana Solar Farm;there are plans for a green hydrogen electrolyzer and power plant. The Upper Spencer Gulf, which consists of Port Augusta and the neighbouring cities of Whyalla and Port Pirie, is in the middle of a transition from rust to renewables.
South Australia itself leads the way in in terms of creating a fossil free grid. It currently sources about 70 per cent of its power needs from renewables (wind and solar) and on occasions this reaches 100 percent— eg., 10 days in early Dec 2022. It is expected that the current 70 percent will reach 100 per cent well before 2030. That probably means SA would be the first grid in the world to run on wind and solar generation only.
good to know, I’m dreaming of a return trip to this neck of the wood, but at this point its a dream only
