My favourite colour neg film these days is Kodak's™ Portra™ 160 VC I used to really like Kodak's™ Ektar 25™ an awesome fine grained colour neg film but sadly Kodak™ took it off the market.
I don't use slide film much these days[due to it's tight exposure latitude], but given the way digital works using it is something I would consider these days.
Photoshop has changed the way photography is taught at a Tertiary Level here in Australia, and I suspect at the lower levels also. Will this mean the demise of black and white photography generally, I have already seen a couple of suburban schools drop their darkrooms and switch entirely to digital, hmm, only time will tell I guess?
