Gayle Slater
Mother, Artist, Photographer, Teacher. 1956-2021
Gayle Slater was an Artist and Photography Teacher.
She taught at Brighton Technical school in their photography department, until it was renamed and then finally moved to an other site in 1994 PIC. By 2012 Gayle had retired from teaching.
These images are of some of her life.
Many former students speak of her inspiring approach to the craft of photography. She was also a great mentor for me as I learned to teach in the mid 1990s.

She was admitted to ICU late July 2021 and had passed away suddenly by the 1st August 2021.
